Hi, does anyone know where I can get the 4 digit code for my car radio from my 1997 Ford Futura? It was locked when I got it, and I have yet been unable to unlock it without having to go to a Ford dealer and paying to get it unlocked.

I guess you already tried doing a Google search? Maybe these guys can help you. They seem to be experts in finding car radio codes!

You're right; I did Google as much as I could find out, but I must have missed that web site or it wasn't listed where I could find it easily. I'll be sure to check through their archives and see if my unlock code is there. Thanks!

I wonder why they install digital locks on car radios. Is it for security? If so I'm not sure if they accomplish the purpose Just a thought.

Yeah, I think it is for security so that if the radio got stolen, it would be of no value to the thieves and so they wouldn't be able to resell it. But I tell you what; the only purpose it's ever served me is to give me a headache.
