[Car Hop]

I have an audio cassette stuck in my cassette player in my car. No matter what I do it won't come out. It actually interfered with the radio until I stuck a pen between it and the bottom mechanism, so I can't use my cassette player and there's a pen sticking out of the unit. Any clues on how I might get this out cheaply?

What a mess. This is the problem with cassettes. i suspect the tape got entangled in the mechanism inside, that's why you can't pull it out. I suggest you take out your cassette player and have it opened by a technician. If budget is not an issue, replace that with a CD player.
