I have a cell phone amplifier for my basement that helps to boos the signal. What I am curious to know is if there is a cell phone amplifier that works that way in a car.

I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question, but why don't you just use the same one that you use inside of the house? Wouldn't it do the same thing; only from the car?

I dunno, it might work but if it maid to be stationary then it might not work consistently They do make special signal boosting antennas for cars though. But you are talking like $150 to $400 for one amplifier.

I've never seen any that weren't expensive but you can get them. Go to a Radio Shack or a local audio/cell phone store and they may be able to help you out.
