Man, was this thing miserable - I just want to discourage anyone here from getting one. I was given this device as a gift; it would transmit your phone speaker to an FM station so you could hear the person talking on your phone through your car speakers, and have your phone on speaker phone to talk back to them. It sounded awful and if my windows were down, everyone around me could hear the conversation - that got trashed FAST!

I'm sorry to hear that someone gave that to you as a gift, lol. I'm sure they'll call all the time to ask if you're driving and using it, too. I personally use an earpiece ever since the hands-free law came into affect here.

I had heard about that, and was actually considering it.... I use an earpiece, too, but it's annoying to have it on all the time.

I had never heard of that but if I had I would have thought it was pretty cool. Now that I think about it, it would not be cool for everyone to be able to hear the conversation!

Yeah, definitely not as cool when you're trying it out, lol. Plus, I started to wonder...can nearby cars pick up on the FM transmission on their radios? Creepy!
