How do you hook up your iPod to your car's sound system, if you do? I think newer cars come with a place to plug it in, but older cars you have to get a little more creative, right?

You can do an FM transmitter, but I have not found a good one that does not produce static.

When I replaced the stereos in my vehicles I cheated and bought stereos that offer an ipod connection itself. This allows me to hide the ipod in the vehicle and control it through the stereo.

Wow, how do you control the iPod through the stereo, Jason? A special stereo system, I guess? I've been using the FM transmitter and have that static problem often.

Some stereos have the controls built in with a special cable you use. You have to look at the descriptions, but it is becoming more popular.

There are adaptor cables that can facilitate that in older cars. I just don't recall at the moment how that is called. But information about it should be available on the internet.
