I want to buy "good" speakers but everyone I ask has a different definition of good. I do not want to break the bank and speakers do not have to be the most expensive. What would a good set of speakers cost?

You do need to find someone who's opinion you trust on the topic, but if you can't and you're left to the sales people at the electronics store, try doing a little research first. Check out websites that sell car speakers and decide on a price range for yourself. Also check out the customer reviews. Personally, I'd need to know what a "set of speakers" is for you - a "set" can be anywhere from 2 to 10 speakers of varying sized and types!
