When you buy a new radio for your car, do you install it yourself? I have never installed one myself but I have found one on sale. I do not have a lot of extra money these days and I might make this a do it yourself project.

It is really not that hard to install your own radio. You are right though, you could save a lot of money by doing it yourself. Once you do it then you will see what a piece of cake it is. Give it a try!

It is not that hard, but I have a friend who has better tools and more knowledge then I do. He likes to do that type of stuff, so I just bring it to him and we do it together. I always hate anything electrical, so it is nice to have someone there just in case.

If I were about to buy a new radio, I would love to install it myself or with the help of my friends who knows better about it than I do.

I would say do plenty of research on how to install it for your particular model of car and radio, and find out if you have any friends who have done it before. My cousin installs all new radios for our family and friends simply because he enjoys doing it.
