Satellite Radio

I've been using my brothers car lately and he has satellite radio. I'm in love. I didn't know it was as good as this. Now I'm thinking of getting it. Does everyone love it as much as I do?

I don't have it myself but have a few friends that do; it is pretty amazing. How much does it cost, do you know? I might wait until I get a nicer car to get it, though.

My daughter has it in her car, but I wonder if she might need to have it looked at. A lot of times she looses reception. Nothing like jamming to your favorite song, riding down the road blasting it, thinking you're cool, and then silence!

I like it, but not enough to pay for it. It was great for the free trial period though.

Is there a free trial period? How does that work? Do they actually go through the process of installing it in your car, only to take it back out?

I've thought about it, but I don't think I listen to enough radio to make it worth it. I personally enjoy my MP3 player and such.

I do not have satellite radio. That is still a little to weird for me. I am happy with the system that I have hooked up right now. I like working on my sound system. I can see how people who do not would like the east of satellite.

It really depends upon which satellite radio you purchase. But then you have to pay (I think) around $10 a month for the service. I think that's what my brother pays but I'll have to ask him. I haven't had time to actually look into it yet.

@ Alexis- You buy the receiver if you have an older car that doesn't already have it integrated in the sound system and then subscribe to the service. When you pay for the satellite service your system is unlocked and you can hear it, sort of like satellite TV. When you stop the service the signal is no longer sent to you. You are the owner of the radio, it just won't work unless you subscribe to the system.

Oh, ok, I get it! Yeah, that does make sense. But, then, again, if you buy the receiver, and then still don't like it, what do you do?
