Rear Wheel Drive vs Front Wheel Drive

I had a car once with rear wheel drive. Lived in Denver, Co. at the time and got caught in a blizzard. Rear wheel drive wasn't worth a hoot on ice and snow. I've had front wheel or 4 wheel ever since. How about you?

I hate rear wheel drive. My wife has a rear wheel drive truck right now, but I'm planning on trading that in for four wheel drive very soon. We have a knack for getting ourselves into sketchy driving condition situations (snow and mud being the two most popular), so four wheel drive is necessary.

I've had both and prefer front or 4 wheel drive over rear wheel. Front wheel on clear roads does very well for me and I leave the 4 wheeling to my husband who loves his jeep.
