I have done pretty well to repair a scratch on my car. I followed a procedure I found online up to sanding the surface of the touch up paint. But what kind of a product do you use to restore the shine to the paint after you have sanded?
I would rather drive someone someplace that they need to go rather than turn my car keys over to somebody else. Even if I trust a person, bad things can happen just because they are not familiar with my car.
I've recently learned a little about microlon engine treatment. I've been reading that it creates a permanent lubricant that binds to metallic parts and therefore reduces friction, increases power, fuel economy, etc etc. Is this stuff any good?
Generally how much would it cost to have my vinyl interior redone? Is it priced per square foot? I know for sure Im going to get the doors redone. Not sure about seats yet. I was just gonna buy some nice racing bucket seats.
I crate my two dogs in the back of my pick up. They are not allowed inside the cab. We have a pet barrier screen in the SUV, and they are restricted to the cargo area.
We live out in the country, so we never lock our vehicles. Someone would really have to come out of their way to get to our place, so it's not an issue.
I'm looking to find a reliable, relatively low maintenance V6 sedan for about $4k-$5k. What makes do you think are good to be looking at? I would prefer something American made.
Have you heard of this new kind of paint that self-repairs minor flaws? I've heard a lot about the "self healing paint", but I can't find where to buy it.
I have a Chevy Trailblazer, and it's a great size for everything I need it to do. It's bigger than a Ford Explorer or a Chevy Blazer, but not as big as a Ford Expedition or a Chevy Suburban. It gets 19mpg.
Those things! They always moved too fast if you weren't thinking about it and had a cup of coffee in your hand, and a lot slower than if you just clicked a manual locking belt.
A number of years ago Consumer Reports rated the Honda CRV as one of the most unsafe vehicles on the road. Maybe things have changed. I think April is CR's car issue. Maybe you should check it out.
