I've always been afraid of motorcycles myself. I hate to hear of accidents like this but they happen often. I know that most are careful while driving them but there are some that aren't.
We love to have garage sales in the Fall. Best time of the year. More people are getting out because the weather is not so hot. I've found also that usually early or late in the month is the best time.
I know some who have these and yes they can be dangerous if not used carefully. I've see to many try to as fast as they can which is asking for trouble. They can be fun though if you just use common sense.
Most of the time I just rinse mine off and hit the inside a little. But, about once a month or every 6 weeks or so I like to have it done professionally. They always do such a thorough job and it does smell good.
Well it is always good to find ways to help save on gas mileage. Most of the time it can be something as simple as what you found. Goes to show that you need to keep your vehicle in top shape.
I think I would go with having it professionally cleaned. If you've looked all inside and feel it is coming form that area, it might help. Now if you still smell it after having it cleaned, I guess you will have to keep searching. Good Luck.
Oh wow, sounds like both of you have had some bad luck. I'm curious though, has your insurance rates gone up any? Usually it does even if most of them weren't your fault.
I gave up trying to please everyone a long time ago. Most of the time you find out they don't even appreciate it. Sometimes you just need to know when to look out for your own needs.
I know your dilemma FenderBender! I have done that same thing myself before. It is very frustrating. I now just buy them where I can have them installed for free. It's much easier that way.
I am at a point where I would like to find out more about taking care of a car to keep it going for a long time and I think I found the right place. :high5:
