    Cleaned out the garage...

Especially with a front-wheel drive, the front ones would be the ones to do first. With a four-wheel, I would still say front since they're snow tires, and front-wheel drive is safer in snow, so it seems logical that putting the extra traction in the front would be safer.

    Auto doorlocks

I could see why someone might think that, because a lot of electronic things can be messed up if you make them move manually instead of using the proper electronic channels.

    Ooops, in a borrowed truck!

I'll have to tell him about that. How does it work? Can he get it just anywhere, or will he have to go to an auto parts store to get it? Thanks for the recommendation!

    Honda's with loud muffler

I think they think it's "cool" somehow. It doesn't make any sense to me, either - and it's downright annoying when they drive through the neighborhood. I think they need to can the glasspacks and just have a normal car.

    Diesel fuel

I'm not sure biodiesel is the answer, either. Did you know that the technologies exist to do things like get 100 mpg, run on water instead of gasoline, and similar things? The reason we don't have them? Follow the money trail.

    Ooops, in a borrowed truck!

I'm guessing once a month is not often enough for this guy's truck. The thing is probably 25 years old, and I guess it must have a leak, because he said he just filled the radiator the day before.

    Bike broke!

I agree with Skippy! Any part that breaks that many times in a row is definitely a defective part and the manufacturer should make it right. I'm glad it wasn't broken, too!

    Grrrrr hubby in a hurry

Wow. I'm actually wondering if you *would* file a claim for that? Is it bad enough to need enough work to take a bite out of your deductible?

    Arguing over Radio in Car

We take turns, but once the radio is set, it stays there. I don't allow anyone to change it except when we are stopped for more than a pause (for example, yes in a parking lot, no at a stop sign).

    Parking brake

Yeah, it obviously needs some adjustment if I can drive with it on, anyway! I'm not sure how badly I damaged it, but I haven't had a chance to take it in yet.

    Ooops, in a borrowed truck!

Yeah, I guess he hasn't been using it much and didn't realize it had gotten low. I know now to check it myself if I'm going to borrow it again! That was scary!

    New phone and its capabilities

It's a Motorola Atrix (using AT&T). The dock connects to the electricity in the car (or can be plugged into an inverter), so it charges while it's in there. If someone calls in while using the map, I can talk using speakerphone... and it will still show me the map. It's very cool.

    Pet Peeves

vroom, yes, I agree that slowing down just to irritate a tailgater is rude, too. I don't slow and move over unless it is clear and legal for them to pass.

    Repaint

If you DO opt to repaint it, I would recommend that you get one of those "car bras" or something like it to cover the front so it won't get messed up again as quickly.
