I think Mythbusters did something that proved that the LED light thing doesn't work. I honestly have never stopped to look at one, but I think they're pretty inconspicuous because I have seen flashes in places I had never expected to see one.

Cool! We had a storm a few years back that was so bad it caused some of the traffic lights to fall right off of their lines, so the government was forced to replace them. It was a nice upgrade.

How much do you spend on people for the holidays? I really don't have enough to go over about $50 for the important people this year, and I'll only be able to spend about $20 on the less-close-to-me friends and family.

I tend to visit family and there's usually room, at least on a couch or air mattress, anyway. I know that my place isn't big enough to host anything, even a meal, so I'm always out somewhere for the holidays.

I have the same problem, but I haven't tried Stop Leak. What does it do? I've just been checking my water before each drive and saving up for the inevitable radiator change.

I haven't but I think part of it is because I really don't like when I'm driving towards someone else on a dark road who is using them. They are a bit TOO bright for me, in that situation, and they can be quite blinding.

I think you can usually get a much better tour, more close-up and including interior shots, from the car company's website itself. It might not be as easy as having them all in one place, but if it's what you want I'd just go to the source.

Does that weaken the tire in any way? I'd be nervous about cutting into my tire when it seems they're always encouraging you to change them at any significant sign of wear.

I'm not willing to get a subscription, but if that end of the year issue is available online I can get to before Christmas, that might help me out a lot with my Christmas shopping!

Lol Monty. I never have, and honestly...a completely-paid-for car is probably not in the cards for me, as I don't know anyone who could afford that. It'd be more likely that someone do the paperwork for me and then help me with the payments.

The kids movie, "Cars," was great in my opinion because of the wide range of cars and references made that car fanatics would understand. That's the one that really stands out in my head.

Yikes; is it just the floorboard, like, carpet, or did it get on the leather seat as well? I remember seeing something on TV the other day that you could just spray on to stains and it would make them disappear, but I don't know if it's safe for leather.

Yeah, sorry to hear you wasted your time on that - at least it wasn't a lot of money. The buffing for me is the most annoying part of fixing something like this; all the work you put into putting it on just to have to work again to take it off.
