    Preserving re-sale value

Continuous servicing and detailing certainly works. The third way is obvious, but we must mention it anyway -- keep your car free from dents and major damages in its structure. Lastly, when you are at the point of selling your car, make it look clean and impeccable. You can't quote a good...

    Measuring Fuel Efficiency

How do you measure fuel efficiency? I'm doing it the "crude" way. I divide the change in odometer reading by the amount of fuel consumed between the distance covered, usually in between two full tanks. Are there other ways of measuring fuel efficiency faster than what I do?

    Facebook accounts

Way out of range indeed. Facebook accounts are for humans, not things. But if one is really serious, one can do a Facebook Page instead. A "Page" is perfect for such kind of whim.

    "Android-Ready" Vehicles, Anyone?

Android, to the best of my knowledge, is a rising star in mobile operating systems. I wonder if there's now a way wherein music in Android phones can be played and controlled using the car stereo system.

    Speed?

I usually don't go beyond the speed limit. Following the indicated speed limits have so far made my driving experience very smooth. I have an aversion for high speed driving and I don't want to run slow and be a traffic hazard. The indicated speed limits take the thinking out of the process.

    Global Positioning Satellite (GPS)

What I have is the portable gadget. It is absolutely cool to use around the city. With it, you have no excuse for getting lost, or for not finding the nearest public toilet.

    Battery Maintenance for Stored Bike

Yeah, it's prudent to take out the battery if you're not using the bike for a long time. In this case make sure you put it on top of a wooden platform, not on concrete or on a piece of metal.

Do you always buy an American car?

Great question. Everyone wants the best deal in exchange for his money. If that best deal happens to be made in Japan, would he let go of that deal because he wants to support the local industry? I'm torn between the two sides of this question.

    Buying From An Individual

I see two benefits of buying from an individual. One, you can negotiate the price and get a deal very quickly. Second, you have someone to ask in case you have questions about the Mustang. The key thing here is knowing how to evaluate a car. Make sure you test drive it. Then inspect it inside...

    Reality TV

I don't watch movies very often, but I'm curious about wife swap. That's a reality show, right? How does it go? I find the term "wife swap" somewhat repulsive.

    San Pedro Angels

I remember seeing a movie when I was young --- "San Pedro Angels." They were hippies on motorcycles. Are there still groups like them today? Just wondering. (Just in case you wonder why I ask ... No, I don't have an intention of signing up with them ^_^)

    TV Shows with Cars

It's the Knight Rider that comes to mind. Yes, the one with David Hasselhoff. I was too young when that was shown, but that talking car with great and shiny shape stuck in my mind. If they convert the "Cars" movie into a TV series, then I would mention that too :)

Why Would You Want a Harley?

I think a Harley (with its classic size and shape) is, in our general consciousness, a descendant of the muscular, fast and shapely horses 200 years ago. Being on one is like being a gun-totting macho hero with cowboy hat and boots once again.

Michigan Secretary of State Approves First Online Basic Driver Improvement Courses

This is absolutely cool. Indeed, with technology available these days, why not? This will enable the authorities to focus their time and energy to serious traffic offenders.

Automobile Insurance for Collector Cars: How to Choose the Right Policy

This is a cool post! Frankly I had this impression that antique cars are ineligible for any kind of car insurance. I even thought that what antique cars need is a non-life insurance policy similar to fire insurance. Forgive my naivete.

Why Would You Want a Harley?

Right :) You see, brands and looks evoke a certain kind of stereo-type. Harley definitely conveys a macho image for the man. The sexy lady that rides behind is also seen as someone with great taste. This is marketing, folks. Honda or Kawasaki conveys a sporty image, which is also cool.

Your Top 3 Cars for 2011

There are a number of 2011 cars in the market today. Which one would you consider in your wish list? Then, why? As to me, I'm gang-ho about Ford Fusion or Toyota Prius. I really wish for hybrid cars, with great looks. (My taste may be different from yours ^_^).

    New Year in Three Days

Hi ChaoticDriver, I still make New Year's Resolutions. But this time I make sure I really intend to do them. One of them*is to have a car logbook.

    Reducing gas consumption

The only things that I think should be in the car all the time are the following: 1. spare tire 2. tools, jacks and early warning devices 3. a piece of cloth for wiping the windshields All the rest can be taken out.

Why Would You Want a Harley?

Tell me, why would you want a Harley? I mean, really? I get this impression that Harley is a cool thing to impress girls. It's some kind of stereo-typing that goes on in my mind. Because of that, I don't see why devoted husbands would want a Harley and remain devoted for very long.
