    I buy new batteries, too Add me to the list of people who insist on buying a new battery when the old one plays out. I'm the one who has to trust that battery to work when I need it to and to be safe when I'm around it.

    Buying a new car It could be that everyone is driving a car that has seen its last legs. I'm driving on one myself and have driven it three times as long as I used to drive one.

    Oil changes

    How many people actually do their own oil changes? My nephew says he will do mine for half the price they charge at the service center. I'm still hesitant because I think the car needs better checking out than that. I'd rather pay him not to do it, but I don't want to offend him.

    Driving music

    Golden oldies I listen to the music I grew up on, 60s music, 50s music and country. I love it all. There's nothing like popping an old cassette tape or CD into the music player and turning it up. I dance and sing down the highway.

    What Was Your First Car

    Second-hand bug An old second-hand VW bug, or maybe it was more like a fifth-hand, was my first car. I stopped and started many a time cramped up in that little car. I did love it, but I've had my last ride folded up in the driver's seat of one.

    Bikers of yesteryear

    Tom Cruise With me, it has to be the Kawasaki Tom Cruise rode in "Top Gun." What a contrast to what he piloted in the air, but his ground ride was a-okay, too.

    Sea Foam

    Sea Foam is new to me I've never heard of Sea Foam, but if it improves the car's performance and you recommend it, I may look out for it the next time I'm in the automotive shop. Thanks for the thumbs up.
