    Tire Air Frustration

I go check the pressure every 2-3 months or so at my mechanics, especially during winter. From changes in temperature tires can really 'suffer' and this can have a bad impact on your safety. The air pressure is very important.

    Summer cars

I only own one car so, that's that. I drive my motorcycle in the summer sometimes but in the winter I only have one car to drive. I'm very careful though.

    "Scooter" Car

Oh, those tiny vehicles (if you can call them that) are awful. They are not safe at all, not to mention whoever drives those are usually really bad drivers.

    Winter Driving

I only have one car but I always use my winter tires when it's winter season. If I could have a choice, I guess I'd love to drive an SUV but right now I'll stick to my old car :)

    Michelin Tires

I also use Michelin on my car but I've never had any problems so far. Are your tires really old? It's strange, because Michelin usually has great products.

    Worth it?

I love cleaning my own car but professionals do it so much better! It's like they're trained to clean, I don't know why I never manage to make the car look so clean and smell so nice like they do. I only do it once in a while though, it really costs a lot.

    Bugs in Air Vents

I think you could remove them but be careful. Or, better yet, let some professionals take care of this. Whatever you do, don't use bug spray inside the vent.

    Alternatives to Armor All

Armor All is good but I've heard then in time it will ruin your car. I don't know if it's true though, they're just rumors.

    Best for windows?

Well, I clean my windows at the car wash, when I wash the whole car. The products they use are pretty good. Maybe next time you go to a car wash you could ask them, since they're professionals.

    the works!

I never give the car to anyone else to drive, unless I'm in the car with them. Cars get dirty anyway but when the "other driver" eats a pack of biscuits or gets in with mud on the shoes it's not going to be a pretty sight!

    Changing upholstery

I'd have it done too. I'm afraid I'm not very handy when it comes to this but then again, I wouldn't change the whole thing, at least not until it's completely ruined.

    TVs in the car

I have only heard of having a DVD player in your car, but not TV. I suppose you could ask the company in your area if it's possible.

    Factory speakers

I haven't changed mine but I imagine that those cars from which you hear really loud music have a better sound system than the original one the car came with in the first place.

    What can you do yourself?

Ever since I got my car I started to learn how to do certain things myself, like change the tires and the oil, replace or charge the car battery and other minor things. What are you guys able to do you your car and what do you leave for the professionals?

    What interior cleaners are best?

Up until now I have used rather cheap interior cleaners, such as simple spray or even water and soap but someone suggested I use silicone based cleaners. Are they better than regular products ?

First car and what you need to know

oSpoim which In my opinion, the most important thing to learn is how to put gas, like Hotrod25 said. Then teach her how to change a tire. You can leave changing the oil to the mechanics, but at least your daughter should know when it needs changing.

    Mystery flat

FenderBender, every flat is a mystery. I once found my tires slashed, for no apparent reason. I think the kids in my area pulled a prank but it really wasn't funny at all.

How long have you been a biker ?

I got my motorcycle license long before I got my car license so I've been a biker for about 10 years. I've never had any problems but seeing how people drive these days, I got a car for safety reasons. How long have you been riding your motorcycle ?

Do you visit the mechanics often?

Do you go to your mechanics for every little thing or do you pop the hood and take a look yourself? I'm not that into auto mechanics so I prefer taking my car to the professionals but my dad says it's better to take a look for yourself first. What do you think?

Have you ever had an accident?

I have had my driving license for a short while so I haven't had the chance to crash my car :) I'm hoping it won't happen but I'm curious about how do people react when they are involved in an accident? Do you get scared? Mad?
