Anyone else have this happen to them going down the road? I have no idea whats up with our little family car but every now and then the belt pops off. What the heck!
No, that's never happened to me. Sounds like something isn't properly aligned or the belt is worn, making it slip off. I'd take it to the shop and have them look at it.
You need to get it seen to-as soon as humanly possible. What would happen if that happened during a crash? The occupant would be through the wind shield, or worse.
Yeah, I've had that happen. I had to replace a pulley that had gotten worn down. You definitely need to take it to a mechanic and have it looked at as soon as possible!
