I just heard that Chevy has recalled over 4,000 Sonics because they may have been missing brake pads! How is that even possible? I can understand a problem arising with a part, but how do they just forget brake pads? And how did so many slip by?
As much as people say that we all depend on the computers to build autos now I am surprised this was even possible. I thought they all had hands on final inspections??
I heard about that! What I heard was that they weren't missing when they left the factory, but they fell off? I didn't read an article about it myself, though, so I could very well be wrong.
