Do you change any of the fluids in your car yourself? I know some people just take their car in for maintenance and let a mechanic do everything, while others try to do everything they can at home to save money.

I have a long time friend who is also a trusted mechanic and he does all my auto maintenance. I'm not set up at home to do the work and I trust him with every auto I have. I will check the fluids to see if any needs to be added but for oil changes and the like, he does all the work.

They top off the fluids every time we go in for an oil change, which generally suffices. Sometimes we check them ourselves. We had to add some windshield washer fluid to the Miata recently.
