My cousin and her son had planned a trip to see her mother this weekend. She lives near Washington, DC. With all the storms and the high temperatures, she was unable to get enough gasoline to get out of town. So now, instead of vacationing at her mom's, with ocean and swimming pools nearby, she's stuck in Washington without power. I feel so bad for her. If she had just kept her car filled, she'd be at her mom's house by now, most likely.
