Little decorations

I never mind when someone personalizes their car, but some of the stuff just amazes me. This weekend I caught a guy driving what looked to be a woman's truck, it was pink all over and the pink had pink on it. So can it really be taken too far?

Oh I definitely think that painting can be taken too far. I've seen cars with bright neon colors, usually flat and not sparkly. One that I actually saw today was a mural of a football team all over the back side of a Suburban. The rest of the truck was plain. It was a little strange.

I've seen a few custom paint-jobs that beg the question of WHY....

I also knew a fella that had to sell his Chev van when his kids came along, the mural on the side of it included a skeleton flipping The Bird in a graveyard scene. His wife refused to ride in it after the kids were born, and insisted it be kept in the garage and out of sight....

If I told you he as a Grand Caravan now... ? ROFL

The most I have personalized my car is the air fresher, its not permanent and its not going to come back and bite me years later. I guess I always think of the resell value first, I do the same thing with my house now. Live and learn, I have a purple & black trim room in my house that still haunts me.

I won't even decorate my car with a bumper sticker! I have a steering wheel cover and floor mats but that's it. I keep it simple. I see some pretty intense decorations. My older sister has a sticker on her truck that says 'porn star' and I die inside laughing when I see her 4 kids hopping out of that very truck when they visit.

Pink!

If I were a woman and I didn't want to let my husband, or whoever, drive my car I would paint it pink. Think about it? How many of us would drive a pink car unless it was an emergency? I wouldn't.
