Too many stop signs!

I'm telling you I went through this town today and I had to stop at 10 stop signs. These were all within a mile radius too. I was going crazy! I have no idea why they would have so many all on 1 street too.

Where there are stop signs, there are intersections. Very rarely are they placed for no good reason, so...I would recommend finding a more direct, alternate route if they really drive you that crazy.

Were you driving in my town? On my street, which is about 2 miles long, there are 2 stop lights and a stop sign. A few streets over there are 2 stop lights within 100 feet of each other. It is really ridiculous sometimes. I think that they can trust us all to have a little common sense at intersections.

Stop signs are a royal pain and lower gas mileage. In the city where I live, they are beginning to install roundabouts like they have in Europe. They work nicely as long as drivers know what they are doing.
