Will injector cleaner work?

I have never used it myself but I can see both good and reviews only from top companies so I figure I would ask my car buddies here. Have you used any before, was the price worth the change? And what type of auto did you use it on? Thanks!

I used it on my Dodge. It worked well although right after I first put it in my car died on me a few times. Then it ran really well so I was happy with it.

Fuel injection cleaner is mostly for prevention. It can clean however if there are large deposits it will do nothing. It all depends on the miles on the car and how it has been cared for.

I would guess since its more for preventive care maybe that is the reason it died out on you? I am really thinking that it might come in handy, lately all seasons here in our area are bad and both our main vehicles get pretty grumpy during each season change.
