Do you have an alarm?

What is a good car alarm to have installed? I've never had one, and have never looked into one. I'm considering it now though. I don't even know where to start looking though.

I just have the stock alarm on my car. I've thought about getting an aftermarket one, but eventually decided against the cost. I'm sure other will have better advice.
