Even though it has been raining I took my car to the car wash the other day. We've had a tough winter and I wanted to get the salt off everything. Do you pay the little bit extra for the under-body wash?
If I lived in the north where they put salt on the road, I would. But since I live in the south and the worst thing on the road is sand, I don't bother with it.
I never thought of this. Do they do this at the car wash? I am going to ask because the winter definitely have been horrible in the North, and I am sure my car is 90% salty underneath. hwell:
I never heard of this either. I am asking my brother if he can do it for me. I hope he does so I don't have to pay for it. I guess I can also ask at my local car wash. I wonder how much they charge for it.
Yes, I make sure that I get a chassis wash. I am fully aware of the areas of my car that retain mud, and I try and get under there and manually clean them at least once a month-more in the bad weather.
