It's so tragic to hear about her death at such a young age. She has gone through some tough times over the years, despite her wealth and talent. She just couldn't seem to recover from her many problems. It wouldn't be a great surprise if her death was drug related.

Maybe you can compromise and get a gently used car with heated seats. So much money is lost as soon as a new car is driven off the lot, I think used is the way to go.

My car has a standard transmission, so I use my emergency brakes quite often. It wasn't the cable though. The mechanic showed me the actual brake part which had broken in two pieces. I didn't realize that the emergency brake was like this at all either.

I guess they must work well because my husband is always asking me if we have any old toothbrushes around. Since he uses them on my car, I make sure I save them for him.

They weren't as good as some I've seen in the past. But I have to agree with Rodney about the Fiat commercial being pretty funny.

That's a good point. I think a lot of people connect their iPods to the stereo in their vehicles and listen to whatever tunes they want to. I'm still into listening to my favorite CDs but I know I wouldn't spend money to upgrade my sound system.

Did you read about the profit sharing checks that Chrysler is handing out to its employees? Apparently each employee is going to receive about $1500. This is good news not only for the employees but for the company as well since it means that they are turning a profit.

We have a two car garage and right now there are two vehicles in it. But it hasn't always been like this. A few years ago, my husband redid our kitchen but decided to hang onto the old cabinets. I probably don't have to tell you where he stored them for about a year.

We've had the same experience here as well. It's almost not worth getting the shovel out and clearing the walk. But after last winter, I think we deserve a mild one this year.

She probably not only turned up the bass but turned on the booster as well. And if she turned off the treble that would make the bass sound even louder.

I would rather wash my own car whenever possible as I don't like sitting in those car washes. I once had a car where the rubber around the window was gone. When I made the mistake of going through one of those car washes, the water was running inside the car around the window.

The sad part is that it's probably only going to take them about ten minutes to do the repair, but they'll still charge you for a half hour. It's outrageous.

My husband always does our oil changes. He had an incident a few years ago where he didn't have time so dropped off his pick-up at the local garage. When he picked it up later, he didn't get far before the oil pressure gauge came on. Apparently they hadn't tightened the oil filter properly and...

I've used those tiny brushes with some success. But every once in awhile, the crumbs are out of reach. Then I plug my "tire inflator" into the lighter and blow those crumbs out of there. So far it's worked on loose stuff. I guess it wouldn't do the trick for sticky stuff though.
