Fourth of July Parking

I think the one thing I hate about Fourth of July is having to pay $5 for parking, and that is for the spaces 3 blocks from the event!

That's one of the main reasons I just stay home or visit family. I hate paying to park when I feel like I can see the fireworks from everywhere. Plus when it's time to leave it's a mad house. I end up sitting in the car and waiting.

We have to pay $5 bucks but that's for parking right at the event. I would not pay to park just to have to walk almost a mile.

Our firework show has free parking but that's because there is ample parking at the marina. Trying to get out of the parking lot is a pain. It seems like once people get in those cars they become rude. All that patriotism goes out the window when somebody squeezes in front of you I guess.
