Natural gas powered car

That is, a car powered by natural gas. It's a new one on me, and probably most of you. It's going to be a variation of the Honda Civic, put out by Honda and carrying the same name, with added letters to designate it.

This could very well be the car for me. I am hoping they get this type of cars going faster. I can deal with 250 mpg. I don't think the trade offs are so bad. I am not really convince that electric cars are the way to go.

I'm not so sure about electric cars either. But natural gas powered cars could really take off. The only problem is the lack of availability of natural gas. But it could happen, and I think overall operation of the vehicle would be cheaper than an all-electric one.

I have not yet heard of the use of natural gas to fuel cars. It's a novel idea, really. Does it just deal with the fuel supply issue, or is it cleaner than gasoline?
