Power Antenna

My 1994 Honda Accord LX has a power antenna, and lately, it's been acting like it doesn't want to come up, or go down. The motor sounds fine, and the antenna isn't kinked up or bent or anything. You think maybe a light coat of oil might help?

I would go for a small amount of WD40 or a similar lubricant. It is probable the easiest place to start in troubleshooting this problem.

That's what I was thinking, either some WD-40 or maybe some light general-purpose oil. I'll try that later on and see how it works.

WD40 is the answer to all ills. I wouldn't use light oil personally, as I find it gets kind of sticky a little too quickly. WD40 does a really good job.

WD40 and Duct Tape... These two items are a DIYer's best friends...lol
So tell us Adam, did the WD40 help your antenna out?
If not, you may need to replace it.
