Vehicle Recalls

Do vehicle recalls make you feel better or worse about a vehicle? My initial reaction was that the car or truck has problems and is maybe not going to be at the top of my list. But when I thought again, I'm wondering if it's not more an indication that the company is staying on top of things, tracking problems and then making them right. So maybe the vehicle is a good one to consider.

It all depends. I would like to think that the recalls are done for the good of the consumer by a trustworthy automaker, but the skeptic in me says they know of bad case scenarios that finally make it worth their financial wile to do the recall.

Recalls make me feel worse. They should be on top of their make before it hits my driveway. Plus, then I end up thinking about how they found out about the recall. :/
