Worth the savings?

A lot of people I know now-a-days would rather ride their motorcycle to work in the hopes that they cut on the chunk of the budget that goes into fuel and maintenance costs.

Is it really worth the savings if you constantly put yourself in danger by riding the main roads with your bike?

Danger? Seriously? That is why people that drive cars and trucks need to be careful when motorcycles are out there on the roads. It's not dangerous really, if you know how to handle your bike, driving the main roads is a lot safer than the dirt roads.

I agree it isn't the bike itself that is dangerous it is the other vehicles on the road. That is why you should always be vigilant! I think that if you know what you are doing then there is not a lot of danger and the savings is tremendous.

Yes you can save a lot of money on gas by riding your bike instead of driving your car to work. But I agree that it's dangerous in the sense that even a minor accident can result in serious injuries for the biker.
