There really should be more regulation regarding footwear. I've accidentally worn backless shoes in the past and found the shoe slipping off. It could be a real problem.

I prefer a mostly analogue dash too in all honesty. Cars are becoming more and more computerized, and it seems like it is becoming increasingly like there are new potentials for major failures.

How do you maintain it? I've always just shampooed and then waxed. I get dings-chips in the clear coat and I don't see how to prevent those other than using a bra.

I'm not sure what I think of that. I suspect, that it is quite the ugliest car I have ever seen. And yet, there's something that the sci-fi geek in me finds appealing.

There's a possibility that the dizzy cap is damaged too, or the coils. A lot of little things can go wrong with the electrical system that only show when the electrics are under load.

I came out of a store last week to find that someone has scratched my car. It's clearly deliberate by the pattern. What makes people think that this kind of thing is ok? How do I deal with the damage?

I worked in a place with a garage for the buses that the company ran. There was a huge loft there-more than a storey high, and nicely kitted out. It was intended to be an office when first the barn was converted into a garage, but ended up being like an archive, and the boss's personal hide out...

Because enough people are busy with work or other commitments that they cannot visit at the better times, no matter how much they want to. Good luck, I hope you hit that golden time!

Agreed-it's downright dangerous to be driving without warning other road users of what you are about to do. Let's just hope that the cut up the wrong person sometime, and that person happens to be a state trooper.

I hate this time of year. We're getting to the time that those nasty big bugs smash onto your screen and leave a big greasy smear that won't clean off. Do you find anything helps? Maybe some dish soap in with the washer fluid?

My car is red. I've always had a red car, though the shade of red varies. Sometimes it's a dark, burgundy, other times it's a more bright and not metallic.

I avoid the cheap and the eBay variety. I had one that blew my fuse and another that exploded and burned out the cable that was plugged into it.

WD40 is the answer to all ills. I wouldn't use light oil personally, as I find it gets kind of sticky a little too quickly. WD40 does a really good job.

A woman in a BMW parked too close to my car. Her passenger opened the door and smacked it into my car. The woman got out, shouted at me! And then stormed off. I'm glad to say that there was no damage, but what a nerve!

All the multi car families that I know have a car for a particular person. You need to get to know your car, I've never really thought that swapping all the time was for the best.
