You need to get it seen to-as soon as humanly possible. What would happen if that happened during a crash? The occupant would be through the wind shield, or worse.

My child is large and old enough to not be in a booster (legally by our state)-yet she still rides in a booster. I know that it's the safest place for her, and the place most likely to let her survive.

No, I've never driven a tank! But I have driven several older-much larger-direct steer petrol cars. All were much lighter and easier to drive than this little diesel was.

I tend to agree. I'd rather drop $40k on a really good family car than blow three times that on a sports car. It wouldn't service my needs, in any way, shape or form.

How do the hottest states deal with the fact that the blacktop gets so hot? Where I am it gets sticky in the hottest months sometimes, but what about down South?

Why aren't they good in the winter? Is it anything to do with the fact that the cover will get wet and freeze to the paint of the car (risking damage that way)?

My driving seat is one of the most comfortable places in the world for me. Now, my legs eventually ache because they are short-so getting a perfect distance can be hard. But I don't have any problems with the seat itself.

Its not a matter of the car seat not being able to go in the front-it can. It's simply not safe, because of the car design. In a head on collision (which is the more common) the kid is safest in the back. It would take a complete car redesign for this to be different.

See, when I worked it out it just wasn't worth the higher deductible. The fees were only a small amount higher to completely do away with my deductible, so I figure why not.

Thankfully I live a block away from the cheapest place in town when it comes to gas. I'm glad that I do, but I wouldn't go driving in order to find somewhere cheaper.

Wow, those were incredibly weird belts. A friend of mine still has a car with this kind of belt. I always found it somewhat odd, but they are strapped for cash so keep it going.
