Recently I decided to ban all food and drink in my car. I was tired of the smells from fast food snacks and the spills from soda cups. Plain water is fine of course. My friends are still complaining but I am going to stick with it.

I have a friend who seems to get incredible discounts when buying a car from a dealer. It probably helps that he works in (non car) sales himself. Does anyone have any stories of how they get a good deal?

I had to laugh when my friend told me she treats her car like her hair! In other words she changes out the shampoo every few washes, even though there is no logical reason for this to make a difference.

I think buying gas real cheap is a false economy. Last year I had lots of problems with my car cutting out or 'coughing' down the street. The garage told me it was caused by dirty (cheap) fuel.

I was lucky enough to take a tour around Beijing on a bike and sidecar earlier this year. Now I am becoming obsessed with owning one myself, although so far nobody will actually agree to ride as my passenger should I go ahead!:heh:
