    White Blinkers Illegal?

I have been looking all over the net for an answer to this... I recently revamped my stock headlights. I painted the insides to match my truck and removed the amber colored reflectors. I know they sell bulbs that appear blue when off, but flash yellow. I really like the looks of the white...

    '06 Colorado

Nice truck. I have been a Chevy guy for a while now. 2006 was a very cool year as far as body style. Not quite the same as the 03-05 or the 07+. It has a lot of style to it. Great looking truck & thanks for sharing

    Loft atop

I had some boards running across the ceiling of my old garage. They were perfect for me to store my ladders on when they weren't at a job. The extra storage space is well worth it in a one car garage.

    Two car garage

I have a two car garage and I love it. I think I would have a really hard time adjusting to a one car garage, especially with my truck crammed into it. Right now I have plenty of room to work. If you have a chance, get a two car garage.

I haven't ever used the compound Rain-X that gets rubbed onto the windshield before. However the last time I purchased windshield washer fluid I bought the Rain-X brand and I loved it. I was making a road trip and it started raining. Everyone's wipers were going full tilt on the highway while I...

    Paint job

I think a reasonable price is right around $1,000 or $1,500. This isn't a huge price to pay for what you get from the investment.

How many miles on your engine?

I just broke 80,000 miles on my truck the other day. It is a 2007 and I plan to keep it until its dead (hopefully 100,000+ more miles away). How many miles on your original engine? Anyone out there with over 150,000 miles?

    How long is your commute?

How long is your daily commute? For me it varies depending on where I am working. This week I am only two miles from home. The next job is 25 miles away, so that will be my commute next week.

    washing cars with kitchen soap

I haven't ever used dish soap. There are always some good deals on car soap at the local auto parts store. Last week I got a gallon jug of turtle wax for $4.98

    Cheaper on Gas

I agree with you 100%. I have to have my truck for work, but it would be nice to ride a motorcycle when possible to save on gas. I filled up the other day and I had almost a quarter tank when I did so. I stopped the pump at $77.77

I used to have to parallel park my truck at my old apartment. It was an upscale place and one morning I awoke to a Lexus about 4" from my front bumper and then a BMW about 6" from my back bumper. I walked around my truck and checked out the spacing wondering what the heck these people were...

    Device Cradles

I always hide any electronics or other valuables I have. Once I ran into a Dunkin Donuts and parked my crappy single cab pickup alongside the road. Within the five minutes I was inside someone tried to break into my vehicle. They broke the lock and snapped the handle right alongside traffic. I...

    07 Silverado

Hey guys, Just wanted to post a few pics of my ride to see what you guys think. I drive a 2007 Chevy Silverado 4wd Extended Cab. I work for a small family owned construction company so this is my work and personal vehicle. I have done many small modifications to the truck.

    Upgraded Stereos

I am running the stock stereo (6 disc CD with Satellite Radio). I have a custom built sub box that I made with two Rockford Fosgate 10" Sub woofers, powered by a 1,000w amplifier. I also have 6x9 Pioneer 350w 4ohm rear speakers that are powered by a 600w amplifier. The sound quality is great...

I can't wait to see what this year has in store for my favorite team, the Red Sox. I try to follow baseball as much as I can, but don't really start to follow it until hockey season is over. I love the fact that Spring is in the air. It has been beautiful up here in MA these past few days.
